Glenn Elwin Sutton Obituary

Glenn E. Sutton, 62, Omaha, Neb., died Tuesday evening in his home.

Born Nov. 23, 1923 in Mazon, he was a son of Henry and Edna (Finch) Sutton. He was educated in Mazon schools.

He was a member of the Omaha Board of Realtors, the American Legion, Fraternal Order of the Elks and Good Fellow Lodge.

He served in the Pacific Theatre of Operation during World War II in New Guinea and the Philippines.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn of Omaha; his mother, Mrs. Henry (Edna) Sutton of Mazon; a daughter, Mrs. Ron (Lana) Hensler of Remington, Ind.; two sons, Philip and Craig of Bloomington, Ind.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Dan (Pamela) Millis of Armstrong, Evelyn Kendrick of Monticello, Ind., and Melinda Kendrick of Omaha; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Lois) Adkins of Mazon and Mrs. Richard (Marjorie) Judy of Streator; and two brothers, George of Verona and Donald of Ogden, Iowa.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Leah Pogemiller officiating. Burial will be in the Mazon Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts to the American Heart Association is the preferred form of remembrance.
