Diann Joy (Lukaart) Millis Obituary

MILLIS - Diann Joy Millis (nee Lukaart) age 61, of Grand Rapids peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family to be with her Lord on Monday, November 21, 2011.

Diann was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Gloria Lukaart and sister, Linda Lee Datema.

Diann is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Millis of 40 years, daughter, Tara Anne (Robert II) Bradshaw; son, Michael Millis; brother, Donald (Holly) Lukaart; special loving aunt, Rose McClure; seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed spending time fishing and caring for the elderly at Villa Maria. Diann always cared and supported other individual needs ahead of her own.

The family will receive visitors at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Service will be offered on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Beuschel Funeral Home, with Pastor Doug Compton as celebrant. Interment with a procession will follow the service to Pine Grove Cemetery.
