She is the daughter of August Aalto and Maria Nyyssala. She was born 7 December 1893 in Noyo, Mendicino,
California. She died 12 April 1966 at about age 72 in Anchorage, Anchorage, Alaska.
She is buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Douglas, Juneau, Alaska.
