Martha Ann Edwards is the daughter of Harmon Edwards and Mical Owings. She was born 1835/1836 in Liberty, Fairfield, Ohio. She probably died between 1856 and 1860 in Illinois since she does not appear in the 1860 census.

On 24 Mar 1853, she married Pleasant Williams in Carroll County, Illinois. He was born about 1832.

Children of Martha Ann Edwards and Pleasant Williams:

1. George W. Williams was born 16 Jan 1854. He died 26 Mar 1855 at age 1. He is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll, Carroll, Illinois.
2. Thomas W. Williams was born about 1856 in Illinois.

Notes

Thomas: I assume that Thomas is a son of Martha and Pleasant because he appears in the 1860 census as an apparent orphan living in the home of Martha's sister, Susan.
