Phoebe Rhodes is the daughter of Mary Edwards and Elias Rhodes. She was born 20 April 1842 in Liberty, Fairfield, Ohio. She died 5 March 1919 at age 76 in Beatrice, Gage, Nebraska. She is buried at Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice, Gage, Nebraska.

• She married Isaac N. Hickman. He was born in September 1841 in Missouri. He died before the 1910 census.

1. Walter Alonzo Hickman was born 16 November 1875 in Missouri.
2. Charles Milton Hickman was born 2 January 1878 in Missouri.

Notes

In the 1900 census, Phoebe says she has given birth to 3 children, only 2 of whom are still living. We have no knowledge of the third child.
