Jamie Edwards is the daughter of James Douglas Edwards and Phyllis Darlene Spencer. She was born in 1950.

In 1971, she married James Harold Deming (Jr.)  in Illinois. He is the son of James Harold Deming (Sr.) and Catherine Hall. He was born in 1949.
