Roy and Rolleen Quiett, Canyon, Texas, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 2, 2009. During their 50 year marriage, they have resided in communities in Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming and Texas. The have made their home in Canyon the past 17 years. He is a retired Church of the Nazarene minister and serves as a volunteer pastor at the Church of God, Hill City. He enjoys traveling, adding to his collections, completing logic puzzles and spending time with his family. She has been a homemaker most of her life and enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, spending time with her family, and spoiling her grandchildren. The couple have two children, R.C. Quiett and wife, Nancy, Canyon, and Terry Quiett and wife, Amy, Winfield. Roy and Rolleen Quiett were married in 1959 in Colby. |
