daughter of Rutherford Oliver Edwards and Delia Catherine Hockman.

On 1 June 1930, she married George Allen Mountford in Hoxie, Sheridan, Kansas.
He is the son of William Thomas Mountford and Jane Elizabeth Carpenter.
