She was born 22 July 1903 in Hancock county, Ohio. She died 5 June 1991 at age 87 in Washington county, Florida.
On 27 October 1923, she married James Orrie Blackburn (Sr.) in Dothan, Dale, Alabama.
He is the son of James C. Blackburn and Macie Linten. He was born 17 August 1896 in
Freeport, Walton, Florida. He died in November 1985 at age 89 in Chipley, Washington, Florida.

Every family tree I have consulted for this family gives Mary's middle name
as Sophronia. But the only documentation I have come across (the Social
Security Death Index, see below), lists her name as Mary J. Blackburn.
