Paul Edward Lloyd is the son of Elsie May Anderson and Robert Wesley Lloyd. He was born 6 May 1933 in Mapleton, Monona, Iowa. He died 15 February 2007 at age 73 in Westfield, Fayette, Iowa. On 19 February 2007, he was buried at Smithland Cemetery, Smithland, Woodbury, Iowa.

• On 22 November 1952, he married Donna Louise Carlson. She is the daughter of Frank Carlson and Bertha.
