Linda Kay Thurston LINDA KAY THURSTON, 58, of the Liberty Community near Dry Fork, died July 9, 2007, at St. John s Regional Health Center in Springfield. She was born Oct. 12, 1948, at Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Leonard and Peggy Bronson Cupples. She had been an employee of LaBarge Electronics in Huntsville for more than 29 years, and a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of Post No. 230, American Legion, at Kingston. She was preceded in death by one brother, William Billy Cupples. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Shawn Thurston and Jimmie Raynor of the Liberty Community; one daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Travis Massey of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday, July 13, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Denver Cochran officating. Interment was in the Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. |
