Allen "Dick" Taylor Allen Taylor, 72, passed away April 3, 2004 in Tonto Basin, Arizona. He was born September 5, 1931 in Mesa, Arizona to Maurice and Rosabel Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a resident of Tonto Basin for 13 years and retired in 1989 from ADOT after working for 29 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother with many hobbies and interests. He will be greatly missed. Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Rosabel and Maurice Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jane Taylor of Tonto Basin; two daughters, Kellie (Dave) Edwards and Kerrie (Max) Yanex, both of Glendale; grandchildren, Rebecca Edwards, Dan Edwards, Amanda yanez, Alexe Yanez, all of Glendale; brothers, Bob (Jane) Taylor of Mesa, John (Evelyn) Taylor of Snowflake, Bill (Marge) Taylor of Snowflake, and David (Ginny) Taylor of Mesa; sisters, Pat (Max) Perkins of Mesa and Marie (Kay) Brewer of Utah, as well as many nieces and nephews. A private viewing was previously held. The family requests that donations be made to Hospice House, c/o RTA Hospice, 107 E. Frontier Street, Payson, AZ 85541.
