Opal Cross SAVANNA, Ill. -- Services for Opal Cross, Appleton, Wis., formerly of Savanna and Peachtree City, Ga., will be 2 p.m. Friday at Savanna Bible Church. Visitation is one hour before the service. Burial will be in Lower York Cemetery, Thomson. Mrs. Cross died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Colony Oaks Care Center, Appleton. Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna, is in charge of arrangements. She worked many years at Hanover Woolen Mills. Opal Groharing was born Aug. 28, 1914, in Savanna. She married Marion Cross in 1938 in Prophetstown. He died in 1990. Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Johnson, Naples, Fla.; a son, Dell, Appleton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. |
