Marjorie I. Henry Marjorie I. Henry, 96, died at 10:45 a.m. Nov. 2, 2008, at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. She was born Aug. 29, 1912, in Orange Township, Hancock County, to John and Nellie Cunningham Stratton, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 14, 1933, she married Paul F. Henry, who died Oct. 30, 1974. Mrs. Henry was a homemaker. She was a 1931 graduate of Bluffton High School. Survivors include a daughter, Janice (Stan) Newton, of Pandora; two sons, Fred (Martha) Henry, of Omaha, Neb., and Larry (Linda) Henry, of Dola; and eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, George Byron, Forest L. and Doyt D. Stratton; and an infant sister. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Bluffton. The Rev. Lynn Thompson and Chaplain William Herr will officiate. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery, Bluffton. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio. |
