[From the Newnan Times-Herald, Newnan, GA, 31 Oct 2008] Mrs. Betty Jo Toll Yeager Mrs. Betty Jo Toll Yeager, age 85, died Oct. 28, 2008, at her residence in Newnan, Ga., from complications related to pancreatic cancer. A native of Morland, Kansas, she was born August 12, 1923, to the late Joe and Elsie Edwards Toll. She was a graduate of the Asbury Hospital School of Nursing in Salina, Kansas, as she prepared for a career as a registered nurse. She was employed at Newnan Hospital during the years 1946 until 1972. At the time of her retirement, she was associated with Howell Industrial Clinic in Atlanta. She was a member of Newnan First Baptist Church. Mrs. Yeager is survived by her children, Gary Yeager of Rome and Linda Gray and her husband, Wayne, of Birmingham. Her grandchildren are Bryan Yeager, Gainesville, FL, Clay Yeager, Atlanta, Bethany Gray, Laurie Gray Trimm and her husband, Kevin, and Lindsey Gray, all of Birmingham. Her great grandchildren are Audrey and Capp Trimm. Also surviving is her sister, Fern Kincheloe, 92, of Paso Robles, Calif., and a niece, Nina Weber and her husband, Walter. There is a large extended family of nieces and nephews of the Yeager family in the Newnan area who were so very helpful to Gary and Linda as their mother's health declined. A memorial service will be on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. in the McKoon Funeral Home chapel, Newnan, Ga., with Reverend Jimmy Dale Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 4 p.m. Interment will be later in the Morland Cemetery.
