KNEPPER Evea O.

Evea O. Knepper, 89 years, of Waterville, Ohio and formerly of VanWert and Tiffin, Ohio, died on Tuesday, December 28, 2004, in the Swan Point Care Center, Maumee, Ohio. Born June 30, 1915, in Auglaise County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Raymond Stemen and LaVerna Morris Stemen. Evea was a ward supervisor at the Tiffin State Hospital over 20 years, retiring in 1977. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her family, and will be greatly missed by the friends and family who knew her well.

She is survived by her daughter, Sara (Michael) Plotka of Lambertville, MI; her sisters, Fern Johnson of Lebanon, OH and Jeanette Williman of Van Wert, OH; her three grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, William I. Knepper Jr.; her brother, Paul Stemen and her brothers-in-law, Lewis Johnson and Maurice Williman.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2004 in The Ridge Cemetery, Van Wert, Ohio with Rev. Scott Fleming of Christian Life Center, Van Wert, Ohio officiating. There will be no visitation. The family suggests that tributes take the form of contributions to The American Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are by the Wells Funeral Home, Waterville, Ohio.
