[Beatrice Daily Sun, Beatrice, NE, Nov 23, 2007] Springer, Marjorie Helen Marjorie Helen (Robison) Springer, 86, of Beatrice, Nebraska, died on Sunday evening, October 28, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born on January 7, 1921, in Beatrice, Nebraska and lived her entire life in Beatrice. She was a graduate of Beatrice High School. She married Bert Lou Springer, Jr. She and her husband owned and operated Williamson Coal Company in Beatrice from 1959 to 1983. She was a member of American Legion Aux, Eagles Aux, and VFW Aux all of Beatrice. She was active in the Red Cross in her earlier years. She is survived by her son, William Springer and wife, Dianne, of Beatrice; grandson, Michael Springer of Kearney, NE; sister, Ella Mae Baxter of Beatrice; 19 nephews and nieces; brothers-in-law, Earl Springer of Diller, NE, Ernie Smith of Chicco, CA; sisters-in-law, Ruth Gebhard and husband, Frank, of Beatrice, Georgie Springer of Beatrice, Ardie Robison of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by husband, Bert Lou Springer, Jr.; son, Robert Lou Springer; father, Ernest Robison; mother, Amanda (Bress) Robison; stepmother, Jessie (Lemon) Robison; brothers, Allen 'Rusty' Robison, Arthur 'Corky' Robison; sisters, Ernestine Smith, Mabel Nauenburg, Velda June Edwards, Rose Barnes. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Harman-Wright Mortuary Chapel, Beatrice. Maynard Kellerman P.M.A. officiating. A private Family burial will be held at the Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice, NE. No public viewing, but a register book will be available at the Mortuary, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A memorial is established to the family choice with the mortuary in charge.
