Margie Leola Hostetler, 92, died at 7:42 p.m. April 14, 2009, at her caregiver's residence, surrounded by her caregivers.

She was born Dec. 28, 1916, in Kossuth to Floyd J. and Ethel Snyder Morris, who preceded her in death. On May 22, 1938, she married the Rev. Donald F. Hostetler, who died April 30, 2000.

Mrs. Hostetler was a homemaker. She traveled with her husband and sons in the evangelistic field for 11 years. In 1966, she co-founded the Light of Life Chapel, where she served as a trustee, board member, and treasurer. She was the organist and pianist at the churches her husband served.

Survivors include four sons, the Rev. Kenneth R. (JoAnn) Hostetler, of Gainesville, Fla., Richard D. (Linda) Hostetler, of Prospect, and twins Daniel J. Hostetler, of Harrison, Mich., and David P. Hostetler, of Pontiac, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and friend and caregiver, Carla Johnson, of Lima.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray, Floyd and Paul Morris.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Hostetler will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Delphos.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
