About 1873, he married Nancy Catherine Iseman in Morris County, Kansas. She is the daughter of David Iseman and Ann Eliza Davidson. She was born 28 March 1854 in Illinois. She died 11 March 1930 at age 75. She is buried at Kelso Cemetery, Kelso, Morris, Kansas.
