[Spokesman-Review, Spokane, WA, May 15, 2002] Eleanor "Jeannie" (Ogden) Curryer -- CHATTAROY Graveside service for Eleanor Jean "Jeannie'' (Ogden) Curryer, 64, will be at 10 a.m. today at the Chattaroy Community Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at the Chattaroy Community Church. Lauer Funeral Home in Deer Park is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Curryer, who was born in Chattaroy, died Saturday. She was a lifelong resident of Spokane County. She graduated from Northwest Christian School in 1956. She owned and operated Jeannie's Daycare in Chattaroy for 20 years. Mrs. Curryer was a pianist who performed at several area churches. She also was the pianist for the Joyful Noise Quartet. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Ronald; two sons, Daryl Curryer of Portland and Dustin Curryer of Spokane; three daughters, Ronda Dodge of Spokane, Becky Bren of Wenatchee and Sandra Blackburn of Evansville, Ind.; her mother, Margaret Ogden of Chattaroy; four brothers, Harvey Ogden of Albuquerque, N.M., David and Don Ogden, both of Spokane, and John Ogden of Medical Lake; three sisters, Mary May and Linda Bates, both of Spokane, and Nancy Gregg of Vancouver, Wash.; and eight grandchildren. |
