She died 23 January 1943 at age 92 in Whitley county, Indiana. She is buried at Blue River Cemetery, Thorncreek, Whitley, Indiana.

• On 5 October 1873, she married Samuel Smith Riley in Whitley county, Indiana. He is the son of Johnson Riley and Mary Ann Smith. He was born 23 July 1851 in Thorncreek, Whitley, Indiana. He died 12 April 1920 at age 68 in Smith, Whitley, Indiana. He is buried at Blue River Cemetery, Thorncreek, Whitley, Indiana.
