Captain Irvin Swander Hartman (1958)

Irvin Swander Hartman is the son of Hallie Christiann Yontz and Irvin Lewis Hartman. Jim, as he is known, was born 14 September 1911 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana. He died 20 November 1998 at age 87 in Multnomah county, Oregon. On 25 November 1998, he was buried at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah, Oregon.

• On 25 June 1935, at age 23, he married Elizabeth Bowen Daubin, who was age 18, in Coronado, San Diego, California. She is the daughter of Freeland Allyn Daubin and Elizabeth Virginia Scott. She was born 10 August 1916 in Washington DC. She died 3 February 1989 at age 72 in Multnomah county, Oregon. On 7 February 1989, she was buried at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah, Oregon.
• In 1991, at age 79, he married Elaine M. Dyson, who was age 70. She was born 22 October 1920.
