He was born 4 November 1869 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana. He died 2 February 1903 at age 33 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana. He is buried at Green Hill Cemetery, Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana.
• On 13 September 1930, at age 56, she married Clide Burton Groesbeck, who was age 57, in Whitley county, Indiana. Clide is the widower of Gladys' first cousin, Belle Riley, He was born in September 1873 in Indiana. He died in September 1946 at age 73 in Whitley county, Indiana. He is buried at Green Hill Cemetery, Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana.
