Anne MacAdam Scott is the daughter of Charles Cosby Scott and Margaret Ann MacAdam. She was born 29 July 1927 in Clarksburg, Harrison, West Virginia.

She was age 25 when on 11 July 1953 she married Donald Brush Sawhill, who was age 23, in Clarksburg, Harrison, West Virginia. He is the son of Donald Veer Sawhill and Claire Brush. He was born 15 July 1929 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania. He died 11 February 1991 at age 61 in Palm Beach county, Florida. He was buried 16 February 1991 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Sharon, Pennsylvania. This marriage apparently ended in divorce.

Children of Anne MacAdam Scott and Donald Brush Sawhill:

  1. Donald Veer Sawhill (II) was born in 1955.
  2. Charles Scott Sawhill was born 6 October 1956 in Sharon North, Mercer, Pennsylvania. Scott, as he is known, died 25 June 1977 at age 20.
  3. Martha MacAdam Sawhill was born in 1962.
