She was age 25 when on 24 April 1948 she married Wylie Fay Leon Tuttle (Jr.), who was age 25, in Clarksburg, Harrison, West Virginia. He is the son of Wylie Fay Leon Tuttle (Sr.) and Florence Merriman. He was born 12 September 1922 in New York City, , New York. He died 29 March 2002 at age 79 in Rock Hall, Kent, Maryland. He is buried at St. Pauls Cemetery, Chestertown, Maryland.
