She was age 21 when, on 1 May 1929, she married Robert Lee Lockhart, who was age 22, in Sinks Grove, Monroe, West Virginia. He is the son of Henry Jefferson Lockhart and Margaret Amanda Cole. He was born 20 September 1906 in Monroe county, West Virginia. He died 2 September 1971 at age 64 in Richwood, Nicholas, West Virginia. He is buried at Spencer Cemetery, Nicholas, West Virginia.
