Isaac Eugene Scott is the son of Isaac Peleg Scott and Alice Bertha Honaker. Known as Ike, he was born 25 September 1898 in Sinks Grove, Monroe, West Virginia. He died 6 March 1984 at age 85 in Amarillo, Potter, Texas. He is buried at Panhandle Cemetery, Panhandle, Carson, Texas.

He was age 27 when he married Hazel Lee Brown, who was age 20, in Logan county, West Virginia, on 4 May 1926. She is the daughter of Frank Pierce Brown and Linnie Cook. She was born 26 May 1905 in Monroe county, West Virginia. She died 6 February 1987 at age 81 in Panhandle, Carson, Texas. She is buried at Panhandle Cemetery, Panhandle, Carson, Texas.
