She died the day after Christmas, 26 December 1986, at age 81 in Greenbrier county, West Virginia. She is buried at Alvon Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Alvon, Greenbrier, West Virginia.

She was age 25 when she married William Houston White, who was age 28, on 14 February 1931. He is the son of George Edward White and Mary Viola Whitman. He was born 2 January 1903 in Greenbrier county, West Virginia. He died 20 December 1982 at age 79 in Fairlea, Greenbrier, West Virginia. He is buried at Alvon Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Alvon, Greenbrier, West Virginia.
