Karl Swope Keller is the son of Nellie Ruth Hoover and Robert Ripley Keller (Sr.). He was born 1 September 1919 in Hinton, Summers, West Virginia. He died 13 April 2002 at age 82 in Linthicum Heights, Anne Arundel, Maryland. He is buried at Greenbrier Cemetery, Hinton, Summers, West Virginia.

  • He married Evelyn Josephine Hutchison. She is the daughter of William E. Hutchison and Verna. She was born about 1922.

  2. Karla Jo Keller was born 17 April 1951 in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland. She died 22 May 2004 at age 53 in San Francisco, San Francisco, California.
  3. Julian Everette Keller was born 7 August 1956 in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland. He died one day later on 8 August 1956 in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland.
  4. Karla S. Keller was born about 1958. She is deceased.

Notes

According to one obituary, Karl has two daughters named "Karla". The other obituary lists a daughter Karla and a son Karl. I have been able to locate information on Karla J. (who is mentioned by both obituaries), but not the Karla S. (or Karl S.) who is said to be deceased. If you can shed light on this apparent discrepancy, please email me.

Another mystery is why Karla Jo is referred to as "Diana" in the newspaper article announcing her birth (Beckley Post-Herald, Beckley, WV, 18 Apr 1951).
