Sarah Shriner and Matthew Scott.
She was born in November 1827 in West Virginia (though then it was Virginia).
She died 16 February 1909 at age 81 in Alderson, Greenbrier, West Virginia.
She is buried at Scott Family Cemetery, Sinks Grove, Monroe, West Virginia.
On 14 May 1854, at age 26, she married Lewis Jackson Burdette,
who was age 19, in Monroe county, West Virginia (though it was then just Virginia).
He is the son of James Madison Burdette and Indiana Linmer Crews
and the brother of Jesse Robinson Burdette who married Susannah's
niece, Hazeltine Judson Edds.
He was born 8 April 1835 in Monroe county, West Virginia (then called Virginia).
He died 25 August 1903 at age 68 in Summers county, West Virginia.
He is buried at Broad Run Cemetery, Wolf Creek, Monroe, West Virginia.
