Ida Harriet McClearn is the daughter of Addie May Miller and Guy Alexander McClearn. She was born about 1906 in West Virginia.

About 1929, at about age 23, she married Dewey Clayton Woody, who was about age 24. He is the son of James Thomas Woody and Minnie Jane Brogan. He was born about 1905 in Virginia. He died 26 October 1975 at age 70 in Roanoke, Roanoke, Virginia. He is buried at Sherwood Burial Park, Salem, Virginia.
