She died in April 1982 at age 91 in Lewisburg, Greenbrier, West Virginia. She is buried at Mt. Pleasants Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Monroe, West Virginia.

• On 20 September 1911, at age 20, she married Everett Lee Hedrick, who was age 29, at the bride's home in Monroe count, West Virginia. He is the son of John Frederick Hedrick and Nancy Jane Lemons and the brother of Guy Fredrick Hedrick who married Ora's first cousin, Laura Eva Burdette. He was born 24 March 1882 in Wolf Creek, Monroe, West Virginia. He died 3 March 1957 at age 74 in Sinks Grove near Rocky Point, Monroe, West Virginia. He was buried 5 March 1957 at Mt. Pleasants Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Monroe, West Virginia.
