Pauline Frances Foster is the daughter of Georgia Alma Burdette and John Elbert Foster. She was born 9 June 1909 in Monroe county, West Virginia. She died 24 March 1931 at age 21 in Wolf Creek, Monroe, West Virginia. She was buried 26 March 1931 at Alderson Cemetery, Alderson, Greenbrier, West Virginia.

On 6 September 1926, at age 17, she married Noel Coiner Ellis, who was age 25, in Sweet Springs, Monroe, West Virginia. He is the son of John Leonidas Ellis and Elizabeth Ann Spade. He was born 21 October 1900 in Wolf Creek, Monroe, West Virginia. He died in May 1981 at age 80 in Lawrenceville, Brunswick, Virginia.

1. Elizabeth A. Ellis was born 10 November 1928 in Alderson, Monroe, West Virginia. Known as Bette, she died 24 January 2012 at age 83 in Richmond, Virginia.
   • On 1 July 1960, at age 31, she married Robert Howlett Huntting, who was age 36, in the Episcopal Church at Richmond, Virginia. He is the son of William Samuel Huntting and Grace Dillon. He was born 16 August 1923 in Connecticut. He died 3 April 1995 at age 71 in Cortland, Cortland, New York. On 5 April 1995, he was buried at Bath National Cemetery, Bath, Steuben, New York.
