Elliott Emmons Scott is the son of Mathew George Scott and Annabell Frances Emmons. He was born 8 December 1889 in Sinks Grove, Monroe, West Virginia, (near Rocky Point). He died 13 June 1965 at age 75 in Ellis county, Oklahoma.

He married Mabel West. She is the daughter of John Cecil West and Sarah Jane Reynolds. She was born in December 1891 in Kansas. She died in 1961 at age 69.
