Peter Sriner is the son of John J. Shriner (Sr.) and Mary Williams. He was born 9 Jan 1821 in Liberty, Fairfield, Ohio. He died 7 Sep 1897 at age 76. He is buried at Old Basil Cemetery, Liberty, Fairfield, Ohio.

He married Elizabeth Weasner. Her last name is uncertain, but she may be the daughter of John Weasner and Mary. She was born about 17 Sep 1825 in Pennsylvania. She died 29 Apr 1903 at age 77. She is buried at Old Basil Cemetery, Liberty, Fairfield, Ohio.

Children of Peter Sriner and Elizabeth Weasner:

  1. Mary Jane Sriner was born 16 Feb 1849 in Ohio.
  2. Sarah Ann Sriner was born 19 Feb 1851 in Basil, Fairfield, Ohio.
  3. Franklin P. Sriner was born in May 1853 in Ohio.

Notes

Prior to Peter's generation, the family seemed to have spelled its name "Shriner" or "Schreiner". Even with Peter, it didn't seem to become consistently standardized for another generation or so.

In the 1860 census (Liberty, Fairfield, OH. Page 143) this family lives next door to John Schreiner (Sr.). I am assuming Peter is one of John's children.
