Lewis George Fisher is the son of Zilpha Adaline Egolf and George William Fisher. He was born 22 September 1888 in South Whitley, Whitley, Indiana. He died 4 September 1974 at age 85 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana. He is buried at Nolt Cemetery, Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana.

On 11 April 1909, at age 20, he married Ella Pearl King, who was age 21, in Whitley county, Indiana. She is the daughter of Reuben King and Mary E. Kaufman and a twin sister of Bessie Bell King. She was born 9 March 1888 in Thorncreek, Whitley, Indiana. She died 6 January 1968 at age 79 in Whitley county, Indiana. She is buried at Nolt Cemetery, Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana.
