• On 3 September 1932, he married Margaret Lucile Grose in Whitley county, Indiana. She is the daughter of Ernest H. Grose. She was born 29 June 1910 in Minnesota.
• In 1956, he married Helen Veresh. She is the daughter of John Veresh and Helen. She was born 25 April 1916 in Michigan. She died 16 December 1964 at age 48. On 19 December 1916, she was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth, Wayne, Michigan.
• In 1964, he married Grace T. Staley. She was born 28 February 1916. She died 23 August 1990 at age 74 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
