On 1 January 1905, he married Laura M. Graves in Whitley county, Indiana. She is the daughter of Wesley Graves and Anna. She was born 2 March 1879 in Indiana. She died 4 December 1944 at age 65. She is buried at Greenhill Cemetery, Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana.
