• In 1937, she married Ethelbert Geren in De Kalb county, Indiana. Bert, as he is known, is the son of Charles Edward Geren and Iva Belle Mahon and the brother of Oscar LeChester Geren who married Hilda's sister, Georgia. He was born 31 January 1918 in Putnam county, Ohio. He died 8 January 1993 at age 74 in Lima, Allen, Ohio. On 12 January 1993, he was buried at Monroe Cemetery, Allen, Ohio.
