Ada Delpha Gaerte is the daughter of Lucinda Jane Shriner and Andrew Gaerte. She was born 15 August 1889 in Huntington county, Indiana. She died 29 October 1968 at age 79 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana. She is buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Columbia, Whitley, Indiana.

• On 10 March 1910, she married Lee Royal Dickerson in Huntington county, Indiana. He is the son of Frank Joshua Dickerson and Emma J. Walker. He was born 5 May 1886 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana. He died 12 June 1979 at age 93 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana. On 14 June 1979, he was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Columbia, Whitley, Indiana.

1. Ethel Mae Dickerson was born 20 August 1916 in Indiana. She died 19 January 2001 at age 84 in Lafayette, Lafayette, Louisiana. On 21 January 2001, she was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greenwood, Johnson, Indiana.
   • She married Arthur D. Worrick. He is the son of Lewis D. Worrick and Sarah J. Buckles. He was born 13 July 1912 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana. He died 2 May 1993 at age 80 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana. He is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greenwood, Johnson, Indiana.
2. Lillian Frances Dickerson was born 24 March 1919 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana.
3. Richard Lee Dickerson was born 8 March 1921 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana.
