[St. Petersburg Times, St. Petersburg, FL, May 31, 2005] KUNTZ , RUTH ANN KUNTZ, RUTH ANN, 101, of Clearwater, died Saturday (May 28, 2005) at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor. She was born in Lilly, Ill., and came here in 1985 from Goodfield, Ill. She retired at age 85 after 20 years as a home health care provider. She enjoyed oil painting and crafts. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, Clearwater. Survivors include four sons, Richard, Clearwater, William and Jack, both of Goodfield, and Larry, Martinsville, Ind.; two daughters, Joanne Hermann, Palm Harbor, and Phyllis Krest, Sunnyvale, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. [Peoria Journal Star, Peoria, IL, June 3, 2005] Health care provider Ruth Kuntz dies at 101 GOODFIELD - Ruth Ann Kuntz, 101, of 1953 Byram Drive, Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Goodfield, died at 1:09 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2005, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Fla. Born May 14, 1904, in Lily to Ira and Cora Lemons, she married Roy H. Kuntz on June 14, 1926. He died in April 1964. She also was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Surviving are four sons, Richard (and Dorothy) of Belleair, Fla., William (and Maurine) and Jack (and Marjory), both of Goodfield, and Larry (and Sherry) of Martinsville, Ind.; two daughters, Joanne (and Norman) Hermann of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Phyllis Krest of Sunnyvale, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. She worked in health care at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. She also was a former school teacher in the Goodfield area. She retired at age 85 as a health care provider. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Clearwater. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Goodfield Baptist Church. The Rev. Roger Strunk and her son, the Rev. Dr. Larry Kuntz, will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka. Memorials may be made to Goodfield Baptist Church or any charity. |
