[Borger News Herald, Borger, TX, June 21, 1983] PANHANDLE - Funeral services for Mrs. Nola Biggs, 91, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, with Rev. Merle Weathers of Canyon officiating. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery by Smith-Fox Funeral Home. Mrs. Biggs died Monday. Mrs. Biggs was born in Fort Spring, W. Va. She was married to Vaughn Davis "Pete" Biggs in 1912 in Panhandle. He died in 1952. She had been a Panhandle resident since 1908 and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Fine Arts Club of Panhandle. Survivors include three sons, Harold Biggs, Raymond Biggs, and Jim Biggs, all of Panhandle; two daughters, Virginia Pruitt of Odessa and Myra Mathias of Arlington; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. |
