[Amarillo Globe-News, Amarillo, TX, Feb. 9, 2002] PANHANDLE - Elva Cahruth "Kit" Scott, 72, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Jim Howard and the Rev. Bob Parker officiating. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Scott was born Aug. 22, 1929, in Tulia. She was museum director of Square House Museum in Panhandle. Survivors include her husband, Floyd; two daughters, Patti Maryan of Corpus Christi and Paula Siddens of Port Orchard, Wash.; a sister, Marion Wood of Mesquite; and four grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, TX 79101; or First Christian Church of Panhandle. |
