Alvin Courtney Pugh Obituary

Funeral services for Alvin Courtney Pugh, 58-year-old Alderson business man, who died at his home Sunday after a paralytic stroke, were held yesterday afternoon at the Alderson Baptist church with the pastor, Rev. L. C. Dickcrson, officiating. Burial was in an Alderson cemetery.

Mr. Pugh resided in Alderson for 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ella Satis Pugh: two sons, Courtney Pugh, of Wallbridge, O., and Pete Pugh, of Alderson; a daughter. Miss Audrey Pugh, of Richmond, Va.; three brothers. O. R. Pugh, of Richmond, Va., Lloyd Pugh and George Pugh of Petersburg, VA., and a sister, Mrs. Lottie Gates of Petersburg.
