PUGH, Vernon Courtney 44, of Alderson, died Friday at home after a long illness. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Elan Eades Pugh; wife, Pauline; one brother, Edwin of Alderson; one sister, Mrs. Charles Chandler of Williamsburk, Va.; two sons, William of Cincinnati, O.. and Richard of Caldwell. Service will be at the home at 3 p.m. today. Rev. Randolph Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Alderson Cemetery under direction of Lobban Mortuary of Alderson.
