[Beckley Post Herald, Beckley, WV, July 01, 1974] Neva Patton, 65, Dies; Rites Slated ALDERSON (RNS) - Mrs. Neva Copeland Patton, 65, died at 10:45 p.m. in a Fairlea hospital after a long illness. She was the owner of a beauty shop in Alderson and a member of the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church. Born Feb. 21, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Henry D. and Lucy Houchins Copeland. Her husband Carl M. died in 1971. Survivors includes two sons, William E. Pugh of Lewisburg and Carl Patton Jr., both of Lewisburg; one brother, Robert E. of Alderson; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Russell of Alderson, and four grandchildren. Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alderson Cemetery with Rev. Charles C. Jack in charge. Friends may call at Lobban Funeral Home in Alderson from 3-9 p.m. today. |
