OBIT - HALL, CLAYTON L. WOODY

Clayton L. Woody Hall, 73, of Daleville, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 surrounded by the love and support of her family. She was born and raised on a farm in Daleville, Va. and spent most of her life caring for her family as well as others working at Friendship Manor. She is predeceased in death by her parents, Dewey and Ida Woody ; sister, Dorothy M. Woody; and her brother, James T. Woody. Clayton is survived by her son, Rick Hall and his wife, Tracey, of Roanoke; daughter, Pamela J. Hopkins and her husband, Greg, of Brown Summit, N.C.; life time companion and friend, Fred Preston of Salem; sister, Charlotte M. Wilson of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Christopher R. Hall, Kelley Hall Evans and her husband, Chris, Amanda J. Ware and Cale M. Ware; one great-grandson, Ashton J. Carpenter; three nieces; five nephews; cousins; and many friends. Friends are welcome to call on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Mark's Methodist Church, 19 Cedar Ridge Drive, Daleville, where a service celebrating Clayton's 73 years will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 12 Noon with the Rev.
