Opal W. Branch

Opal Mae Wagner Branch, 75, of Hillsborough, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at her home following a period of declining health. Mrs. Branch was born on Oct. 10, 1934, in Roanoke, Va., to the late Russell Wagner and Eva McClearn Wagner. She retired after 40 years as a public school teacher and was a professional trainer for GM Motor Corporation.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Malone and her husband, Roy Lee, of Troy, Ohio; one daughter in-law, Amy Branch of Golden, Colo.; one grandchild, Kelsey Branch of Golden, Colo.; and a brother, Dan Wagner and his wife, Betty, of Goode, Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Branch; and one son, John Mark Branch.

A cryptside service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the Chapel at the Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Dr. Kevin Frederick officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday at Burke Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the John M.
