[Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register, Wheeling, WV, January 12, 2012] Ruth Mozley MOZLEY, Ruth B. of Sun City, Ariz., passed away on January 6, 2012. Born October 23, 1912 in Princeton, W.Va. She served as an organist at a number of churches in Wheeling, W.Va. She last served at Christ United Methodist Church for 18 years. In 1951 she started working for the West Virginia Department of Welfare where she advanced to the position of Supervisor. She graduated from West Liberty State College in June of 1970. She is survived by son Colonel Dilmore, Jr., daughter Brenda Barrett, sister Jean Coffield, brother Powhatan Baber, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Colonel Dilmore, Sr. (first husband), Joseph Mozley (second husband), sisters Helen Young and Elizabeth Johnson and her parents Elsie and Powhatan Baber. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the United Church of Sun City.
