[From Charleston Daily Mail, Charleston, WV, Dec 21, 2007] Clovis Beecher Crim Clovis Beecher Crim, 83, of Union passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 19, 2007, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a long illness. Born at Pullman on March 29, 1924, he was a son of the late Floyd D. and Stella S. Crim. Mr. Crim was a retired Roadway Trucking labor contract negotiator and a Hereford cattle farmer, a member of Union Rotary Club and the Monroe Historical Society, and a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Scott Crim, on May 12, 2000, and by a brother, Calvin Crim. Surviving is his best friend, Marie Nickell of Fairlea, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Groves Funeral Home, Union, with the Rev. Mike Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Union. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. |
